What are Awareness Through Movement classes?
These audio lessons are based on The Feldenkrais Method, which uses gentle movement and directed attention to help people learn new and more effective ways of living the life they want.
What are the benefits of the Feldenkrais Method?
You can increase your ease and range of motion, improve your flexibility and coordination, and rediscover your innate capacity for graceful, efficient movement. Since how you move is how you move through life, these improvements will often enhance your thinking, emotional regulation, and problem-solving capabilities.
Will they make me sleep better?
Absolutely. Because you will move in gentle and repetitive ways, these classes have a way of calming down the nervous system and preparing you for a good night's rest.
How do I approach this library?
Pick and choose the areas you want to work on (choose randomly if you have no preference!). No previous experience is needed, nor are the movements in any way athletic. These are lessons for every body and everybody. Once you make the purchase, I will send you an email with instructions to make the experience complete and restful.
