The movements on this recording are done mostly on the back, with the occasional sitting position, focused on creating a soft and open arch of the back and opening of the chest in order to facilitate the pose that is in Yoga called the "bridge" (a backbend). Whether you go into the backbend is irrelevant, this recording aims to teach you how to find softening in the chest and hips.

This 50-min recording consists of slow, mindful movements to achieve powerful effects in terms of strength, flexibility, and holistic integration of body and mind. Stemming from the Feldenkrais Method, these lessons tie directly into functional movements of daily life, such as walking efficiently, safely lifting objects, and improving one’s posture in sitting or standing.
In the recordings, I guide you through a sequence of movements, encouraging you to move with gentle attention within a comfortable range. You may become aware of unexpected and interesting connections within and between the movements.
As you attend to the improving quality of movement, unnecessary muscular tensions throughout the body can reorganise and release. Perfect for gaining a clearer self-image and relaxing before sleep.
